Hands down the best sushi my wife and I have had. Kyoko-san and the entire staff were so friendly, warm, and made us feel so welcome. We had an amazing cozy dinner after a long day of traveling, and the staff were very kind to us. The stories of their lives they shared touched our hearts, and will always live in our memories. This will be our first stop every time we come to Sendai, and we will tell our friends to visit too.

The atmosphere was great. The place was so peaceful and the staff were very friendly although I can not speak Japanese. I didn't get an english menu but there were pictures so I could pick some dishes easily. The overall quality is good. This set was 1400 yen. I ordered additional Amaebi and Ikura which both were tasted quite good.

The best food I've eaten in Japan, Kyoko Aizawa was a wonderful host. At 82, dressed in her beautiful kimono, She told us stories with the help of her son and his son. A family run business with food that is filled with love. I ordered the princess mago set and was blown away. Every bite was balanced and delicious. It brought me great joy that I actually teared up when I left. A memory I will always cherish. Thank you so much for everything! I will be telling everyone visiting Sendai to eat here. And hope to be back soon enough. seriously, try this place out. Worth every yen!

The food was good, the service was better. We were hosted by the owner Miss Kyoko, who was so welcoming. The sushi was authentic, the sake is great as well. Most of the crowd here is locals.

My wife and I had a wonderful time here. This is a family run business with mother Kyoko and son Naoya. They made us feel very welcome, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. They have Chilean and French red and white wines, plus beer and sake. If you are looking for traditional Japanese food in Sendai don't go past this restaurant.

I had a chance to visit the restaurant about two weeks ago and I loved it. The food was delicious. My wife and I had ordered both the Sashimi and Sushi Omakase and it was very delicious. The plates were well balanced between white fish and the fattier sushi pieces, namely the Chutoro and Uni. We were fairly full with the generous portion of the food, but since we had a little more room, we decided to also get the Otoro sashimi;it doesn’t disappoint. The staffs were very attentive and nice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all of the tourist if you want to experience authentic Japanese sushi restaurant.

This apparently is where locals bring their foreign guests. It is located on the the 5th floor so you have to take the elevator or the stairs. But when you enter you feel like you’re in an old style Japanese restaurant. We were seated at the horutatsu which is a table the resembles like your eating traditionally on a Japanese table. The food was great I ordered the Tamagoro which was invented there. It’s sushi and rice over a bowl of tamago. We were greeted by the owner. She was Very welcoming and made us feel accommodated. I would love to come back here again.
